Installation work for Sculpture on Shore 2021. Stained glass, copper covered door, cast bronze handle, and Corten steel leaves on a rotating pole.
Glass Bronze and Copper
Each piece of glass is handled many, many times. The glass is cut, ground, and painted in several layers before being kiln fired. When it cools it is then leaded and soldered together, puttied and blacked. By the time each work is complete I am deeply invested in it.
